Choose the correct answer.

Which of the following is an example of a conifer?
A. Pine tree
B. Apple tree
That's Correct!
It's Wrong!

A conifer is a plant or tree which makes and uses cones to hold and shelter their seeds. The cones have scales that shelter the seeds, and once ready, these scales open and the seeds fall to ground.

On the other hand, an apple tree is not a conifer. The seeds are protected by the fruit and there are no cones. The seeds do not easily fall to the ground like a pine tree and other conifers.
